Account & data deletion
You can export your SnapContact data at any time and permanently delete your account and all the data tied to it — your contacts, reminders, spaces, and uploaded files — from inside the app or by request. SnapContact is built to honor data-portability and erasure rights.
Export first (recommended)
Before deleting, take a copy: from the Tools hub, export your contacts (for example to a spreadsheet) and back up your data. Once an account is deleted, its data is gone — an export is your safety net if you ever want to return or move elsewhere.
Delete your account
Use the in-app account-deletion flow, or the canonical page at:
Deleting your account removes your contact records and associated data from your Firestore profile and the files stored under your account via FilesHub. The app deletes the data it controls; for any third-party processor, deletion follows that provider's standard erasure path.
What's removed
- Your contacts, tags, notes, lists, and timelines.
- Your reminders and spaces.
- Files you uploaded (card images, space attachments).
- Your account identity.
Local device preferences (like your chosen theme) are device-side; uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes those.
