Spaces
A space is a lightweight area you create for a single client or project, where you can post updates, attach files, and pin the contacts involved — so everything about that engagement lives in one place tied to the people in it. Spaces are the collaboration layer of SnapContact, intentionally simpler than a full project tool: posts, files, and pinned contacts, not Gantt charts.
What a space contains

A space can be personal (just you) or shared. Basic roles distinguish the owner from members so it's clear who created the space.
Why use a space instead of tags
Tags organize your whole contact list horizontally; a space organizes one engagement vertically. When a client involves several contacts, a few documents, and an ongoing thread of updates, a space keeps that bundle together instead of scattering it across individual contact records. You still reach the contacts through your normal list — pinning them in a space is an additional view, not a separate copy.
Files in spaces
Attachments uploaded to a space are stored under your account via the FilesHub file-storage API, with upload progress shown for larger files. This keeps file handling free of a paid storage backend while still tying each document to the space it belongs to.
Scope and honesty
Spaces in version 1.1 cover posts, file attachments, and pinned contacts with owner/member roles. Richer collaboration — granular roles, phone-based invites, and mentions — is roadmap, not shipped. The docs describe only what exists today.
